Can't quite believe how time is flying this year and that we are well into our school holidays up here in Scotland already.
It's been a busy old time here at Angelcake Designs with the launch of our new bike range. It's something I've been thinking about and working on for some time and it's a range I've loved designing. It's the first time I've dipped my toe into the world of graphic design and it's been a rather steep learning curve! I'll be working to expand the range over the next few months with calenders and t-shirts coming soon....
Living in Peebles it's hard to escape cycling of any kind and we recently hosted the World Eduro as part of the fantastic Tweedlove festival. It was the most amazing festival and the atmosphere in Peebles was incredible with bikes and bikers everywhere ( hence the mug "got to love a man in tights" - well you have to don't you?!!)
Our personalised range is still going from strength to strength too and I thoroughly enjoy making all the cushions, pictures and cards to celebrate the birth of a new baby. Talking of which I've recently teamed up with local photographer Emma Scott who specialises in baby portraits. Her photographs are absolutely gorgeous and I'm over the moon with the pictures she's taken for me so far.
